An introduction to Skill Capes
Introduction
Skill capes in Runescape have always been the pinnacle of a select skill. People marvel over others who have these capes that show absolute mastery, and the power and mana that comes with each skill cape. The differing skill capes all gather different reactions from players, but all in all, whether it is a Fletching skill cape or a Runcrafting skill cape, every one of them deserves the attention they get.
There are many different skill capes, each with their own unique colour and the symbol of mastery on the back. They also come with special emotes that only people with skill capes can use. Since skill capes require a lot of detail, in this guide I will only be telling you how you can obtain these skill capes and what they look like.
How to obtain the skill capes
After getting 99 in a skill, a congratulatory message will pop up, and it will look something like this…

After this, to get a skill cape, you have to go to the relevant “Master of the skill”. After talking to them, you will get the option of buying a skill cape and a hood for 99k.
If you get another 99 in another skill, you get a different reward. Instead of a plain cape with just the symbol of your skill on it, you get it with trimmed edges instead.
