Best Ways to Train Magic in Runescape

Magic is a very talked about subject due to people wanting cheap ways to train it. This guide is not only to show you cheap but decent ways to train it but also to make the most of those that have lots of resources.

Cheap Magic Training

If you are completely poor and cannot afford a supply of runes there is a alternative. A mini-game called Fist of Gunthix located in the lv.9 wilderness, supplies free runes for the mini-game. To make the most of your training, when you are being hunted do your best to die including not healing, running to the opponent, wearing worst armor you have etc. When you are the hunter, use the most powerful spell while casting a lot of curse spells. This will give you decent experience while not spending a cent.

Easy Magic Training

There is also a way to train magic even if your sleeping etc. All you need is melee armor with the worst magic bonus, an air staff and a hundred thousand mind runes (Yes, 100,000 or 100k). Now equip armor and staff and find a monster too weak to kill you but also one that you cannot kill with wind strike and armor on. Auto-cast wind strike on it and go away. This is slow experience but you don’t need to be there.

High Alchemy Magic Training

If money is no problem to you, you will still want to have the cheapest of the best method which is casting the high alching spell. So I will tell you whats good to alch. You could find a page of things that are cheap for alching but if you want a consistent low loss item to alch choose mind rune. The loss per cast is the cost of one nature rune - 5 coins which isn’t so bad when you consider other items.

So there you have it, if your poor, play Fist of Guthix. If you want to train while off the computer try casting wind strike with melee armor on. Or if you need to alch cheaply, alch mind runes. Whatever you choose, I wish you luck on mastering magic.
