Revenant Hunting - A Runescape Guide

Revenant hunting is the most dangerous free-to-play activity other than pvp. It was put in the game when Jagex removed player killing in the wilderness to keep it a dangerous place. There are many types of Revenants so I can’t describe them all but I can say they range from lvl. 7 to 126 but always are stronger than their level. Also you can only attack/get attacked if you are (Equal to wilderness level) above or below their combat level.

Getting started: You should bring melee armor and use protect from magic prayer to give good all-round defence. Only bring 3 or 4 of your best items and the rest with things you are willing to lose. You will also need good food and a strenght potion (If melee).There are a few good places to find revenants including: Chaos Temple is where you can also restore prayer here and hide, Western Ruins is where all revenants respawn but you need a group since they teleport quickly and Bandit’s camp has provisions for healing and plently ofbuildings to hide in.

For combat: When soloing only be in a single combat zone as you can easily be beaten be multiple revenants unless you fight in a crowded area like Chaos Temple on a busy world. It is also a good idea to fight in groups since it is hard to solo and you can use more tactics like tanking. Like a human they eat to heal and change attacks depending on your weakness but are also weak to Crumble Undead.

Thats all the information I can give you but just as a warning, revenant hunting has a high death rate even when prepared.
