One of the easiest ways to make money in Runescape is just within your grasp.  All it takes is level 30 smithing, a few thousand coins, and, optionally, enough mining skill to mine iron and or coal.  Before you can get to the real moneymaker, you must first reach level 30 smithing.

Leveling Up

This is assuming you’re at level 1 in mining, and at level 1 in smithing.  First, move to the mine directly south of Lumbridge with a pickaxe (preferably an iron one) and an empty inventory, wield the pickaxe if you’re high enough level, in order to free up inventory space.  Begin mining copper and tin in equal amounts, and bank in Lumbridge when your inventory becomes full.  Tip: Copper is orange, Tin is silver
