Runescape Christmas Event 2009 Walkthrough (Spoilers)

This year, the Queen of Snow is throwing a feast.  The only problem is that Ebenezer Scourge has stolen all of the food and is holding Santa captive. Your job is to rescue Santa and save the Christmas feast. To start this Christmas event, walk into the Christmas Cupboard in either Draynor, Varrock, or Falador. The Cupboard in Draynor is located just outside of the door to Aggie’s house.

The second cupboard is just north of the entrance to Falador.

Finally, there is a cupboard in located in Varrock Square.

All of the Christmas Cupboards will bring you to the same area. Here is what you have to do:

1. After you have entered the Cupboard, you will need to meet up with your snow imp. To do this either find him standing by the snow sculptures, or go and talk to the Queen of Snow, located inside of a tent at the western side of the Land of Snow.
2. After this, go to the west and through the gates. You will end up outside of Scourge’s house.
3. Go inside and take a left to get into the room with Scourge.
4. Talk to him and he will state that he is going to go take a nap and will zap you if you awake him. Now, you will be able to touch everything in the house (open cupboards, search bareels, etc.).
5. Go open and search the cupboard in that room. You will get Bedsheets.
6. Now go to the dining room on the eastern side of the house and search the cupboard in there. You will recieve a needle and thread.
7. Finally, go to the northeastern room of the house and search the barrel. You will find chains.
8. Use the chains on the bedsheet to make the Christmas ghost costume, consisting of a Christmas ghost hood, Christmas ghost top, and Christmas ghost bottoms. If you should find a bucket while searching the house, keep it as you will need it later in the quest. You can drop any cabbage that you find.
9. Now, wear the Christmas ghost suit and talk to your snow imp again. He will tell you to talk to the Queen of Snow.
10. Go ask her about Scourge. She will tell you how they used to be in love, until he broke her heart by leaving one day. Now you will be able to go upstairs in his house.
11. Go back and upstairs and you will see a cutscene. After attempting to scare him, he will be annoyed and cast a fire spell on the characters of the Land of Snow. Pay attention to the order he casts the spell in. You will need to pour the water on them opposite that order.
12. Now, go back to the Land of Snow and over to the fountain. This is where you will need a bucket. Having more than one bucket will help, but you can do it with just one.
13.  Use the bucket on the fountain to fill it.
14. Then use that on the characters that were cursed by Scrouge. Don’t worry if you forgot the order that they were cursed in, the cutscene where they are cursed will play again if you do it in the wrong order.
15. Once you have saved every one of the characters, go back to Ebenezer Scourge.
16. The snow imp will summon Tiny Thom, causing Scourge to get even angrier. You will return downstairs.
17. Now, talk with your snow imp and return upstairs.
18. You will now have to choose which emotes to use. First, you should use “Angry”, then “Scare”, then “Dramatic Point”. He will agree to return the feast and release Santa.
19. Now go back to the feast and talk to Santa, standing in front of the tent.
20. Go southeast to the Christmas tree and open the red and green wrapped present. You have now finished the quest and will recieve your reward: Candy Cane, Ghost Costume, and The Dramatic Point Emote.

Extras:

• You can take snowballs from the piles of snow at the feast. Either wield them and then click on someone to throw it at them, or use it on them.
• Once you convince Scourge to return the feast and release Santa, you can take food from the tables and eat it. All of the food, however, will be taken from your inventory once you leave the feast.
