Runescape Fishing Bot

The Runescape fishing bot has been and is currently being used to gain fishing levels in Runescape and provide players with the opportunity to gain an unfair advantage over other players. More commonly, “players” have downloaded a free Runescape fishing bot in order to make money in Runescape to sell in real life. To combat the sale of Runescape money and to prevent people using a Runescape fishing bot in order to make the money that is sold Jagex introduced trade limits – which almost stopped the real world traders.

Unfortunately for the fairer of Runescape players, others sought the final way to continue to use the Runescape fishing bot to make money – by creating noob accounts and then selling the accounts with the user desired fishing level and/or GP. Despite the chances of being banned from Runescape for using a downloaded fishing bot more and more people began using this method to make money. Jagex really did have to “up their game” and come up with a way to prevent this. Initially, the problem cannot be prevented although Jagex very recently have stated that there is not one Runescape bot that they are cannot detect and that those found using Runescape bots, including the Runescape fishing bot will have his or her account banned.

How can you tell if someone is using a Runescape fishing bot? Although it isn’t always the case, someone using a fishing bot for Runescape will normally have a highly random name, have a low combat level, never respond to anybody and commit to the one task it is set to do which in this case is fish as well as perhaps bank. I myself have an account with a somewhat random username, it is a level 3 account, I hardly talk on it (or only use clan-chat) as I level quicker without distractions and commit to my goals. Being passed with the odd mutter of “lmao botter get a life” or “stop botting noob” really does become tedious, but shows just how corrupt Runescape fishing bots are turning Runescape to.

With Runescape fishing bots causing large fluctuations in prices of fish, be sure to report those making the game un-playable that are using Runescape fishing bots or any other form of Runescape bot!
