Runescape Underworld - Bots, Hacking, Glitches, More

WARNING: The following is all to do with stuff that Jagex has forbidden and you may be punished for being involved in these sort of things. I am writing this for educational purposes only and I am not responsible for anything that may or may not happen and I am not encouraging anyone to do any of these.

Black market- The black market also called real world trading, it is the sale of gold, accounts, membership and various items and services. Punishment if caught will be lose of accounts that were involved. However no matter what Jagex does, the black market of runescape continues to stay around with some making a large amount of profit. How do they do it? Most use multiple bots, all constantly running to earn money on constantly banned account. Do it right and you make millions (RS gold) a week.

Runescape Bots (Macros)- These bots are computer programs that play runescape for you, do those boring repetitive training tasks while you go live your life. It is commonly used on accounts to sell in the black market (Either the account or items in the account including gold) but is also common for people who want a good account but can’t be bothered to train it themselves. Bots can be obtained for free or for really good ones with anti-bans and random solvers are a small fee. Jagex tries its best to tract and ban anyone using them, they tract things like bot-like mouse clicks, failing randoms, failure to respond to chat talk etc. Don’t be fooled autotypers are illegal as well as any other third party program that may seem harmless.

Hacking accounts- This is another way to sell accounts in the black market. There is many ways to obtain accounts in such a way. These include: Hacking into a computer and finding the password (rare), Keylogger programs, fake site scam, staff impersonation scam, false promises scam etc. This can easily be avoided by having a good password, recovery info, keeping away from suspicious sites and not believing anyone who you don’t know.

Glitch abusing- Jagex tries hard to keep runescape bug free but occasionally 1 or 2 slip into the game. When someone finds a glitch they abuse it until it is fixed. Commonly Jagex find these abusers and ban the accounts. Notable glitches include the clone glitch for cloning items including party hats and the glitch of being able to kill other players outside of a pvp zone while the other cannot fight back.

Privet server- A privet server is a runescape server that Jagex didn’t make. Instead the ones who made it stoled runescape game code to use make their own runescape. These servers are illegal and are shut down once Jagex tracts it down. There are 2 reasons why people play these instead of runescape even though the game is much better on the official servers that Jagex has: 1. Usually the servers offer extra fast experience gain and/or instant rare items so that people can see what it is like without actually having to work hard to get it. 2. Lots of people prefer the old way of pking which some servers allow. The most popular runescape privet server is moparscape.com which has all different kinds of server availble

THE SHOCKING TRUTH- Now many people think Jagex is to blame for the RWT solutions like the removal of the pking wilderness, trade restrictions etc. But they were forced to because the RWT were using stolen credit cards to give their gold farming accounts then the banks would make Jagex give the money back to the people who get their credit cards stolen. Jagex would then try and fail to get the money that they had to give back from the those who stoled it. Two reasons why Jagex made the changes was 1. The government force Jagex to make changes to stop RWT to lessen the amount of stolen credit cards and because RWT was commonly used to fund other illegal activities. 2. The amount of money Jagex lost via RWT far outweighed the loss of members from the changes. So for that if Jagex did not make those changes there would be no runescape.
